One of my most recent projects! I was literally bored and decided to explore the world of ASCII art, which inspired this project.
ASCII Generator allows you to convert images and videos into ASCII art in a modular, interactive, and fully configurable way.
Clone the repository:
git clone https://github.com/DMsuDev/ASCII_Generator.git
cd ASCII_GeneratorInstall the dependencies:
pip install -r requirements.txtRun the main program:
python app.pyFrom there you can:
- Select an image or video file
- Adjust parameters (width, density, color, speed…)
- Start real-time ASCII conversion
- Navigate dynamic menus and persistent settings
