"sudo pip install" has a few ways it could end up wrecking your system (for example, when later a different version of the package is installed through the regular system package manager.) "pip install --user" is just as convenient and has much less chance of causing problems on your system. Mention that, instead.

(The even better way, but slightly less convenient for new users, is using virtualenv. That's certainly way beyond the scope of this particular comment.)
