Request: Please add a testing helper for the project #14

I would like to suggest adding a testing helper to the repository. A testing helper could make it easier for contributors and users to write and maintain tests, and help ensure consistency across the codebase.
I also noticed that there have been no commits to this repository from July 20, 2025 to January 18, 2026, based on the commit history I checked. May I kindly ask if the project is still actively maintained?
