413 Request Entity Too Large

When I use the Copilot SDK, I often encounter the following error message:

SDK error: Model call failed: "413 413 Request Entity Too Large\n" (Request ID: FF0F:3AD4C8:3D04A72:4C4DBC6:696E262E)

May I ask what the issue is?

It might be that you are including a huge amount of extra context from MCP tools or custom instructions.

I had Copilot read the images in a folder—each one about 5MB—asking it to process them one by one. But after reading maybe a dozen or so images, this error pops up every time.

@doggy8088 Thanks for the info. Moving this issue to the copilot-cli issue as it would need to be addressed in that layer (or even lower).
