Proposal: AI change proposals in side-by-side diff review, would you use it?

Hi @Dimillian ! I’m considering building diff review with AI collaboration, and I’d love your feedback before I start.

Concept:
The AI generates a change proposal for the current workspace. The IDE then presents it in a side-by-side diff view, where the user can:

Accept or reject changes by hunk

Regenerate only a selected hunk (iterate on a small area without redoing everything)

The main goals I’m optimizing for:

Reliable application of AI edits (stable patching against the user’s working copy)

Partial acceptance (users can take only the parts they trust)

Predictable conflict handling when files change during review

I would love it. Seems like a lot of work to build and get right but I'm open to it.
